You need to open the app regularly (multiple times per day), otherwise the lights are not updated.

I really love the idea of this app. Unfortunately it does not work as supposed. I use it together with my Philips Hue-System. Pairing works flawlessly and if you open the app it indeed sets the color-temperature of your bulbs according to the local sun position. BUT the Background-Sync Option has no effect, so the lights are not updated when you dont leave the app open and active. Without this functionality, in my opinion the core feature of such an app, this app is nearly useless. Id love to see an update on that.

Awesome idea, but the app doesnt run in the background. In other words, unless you consistently re-open the application, the lights will remain static and defeats the point of the entire application.

Gave it a 5 stars before. Please update it.. Now doesnt connect to Hue hub

This app cannot even find the lights. The. Implant says they are aware of the problem and have made the app available for free while they try to fix it. Yay. An app that doesnt work and takes up space on my phone. Forget this app as the company has had ample time to figure it out. Pass

Does not connect to hue lights

I dont usually write reviews, but those 1 star reviewers obviously did not understand what this app does. It does exactly what it does, which is to match the color of your hue bulbs to the sun. Would recommend.

No matter what I do this app will not allow me to connect with my Hue Bridge. So when I try to connect my Hue lights via the Connect Lights setting, I press the Hue Lights button then it asks me to press the Hue Bridge button and the prompts with a popup, so I press my Hue Bridge button then press OK on the app and it just dismisses the Hue Bridge each time which doesnt allow me to connect with the bridge. Ive also tried to press the hue bridge button without pressing the OK button on the app and it still doesnt connect (no matter what order or how I try to do it). So until the developer fixes this, the app is useless until I can connect my lights.

So confusing I couldnt make it work. Not user friendly at all.

Best part about this app is that it works! It actually changes the lights throughout the day and is very comfortable to sit, relax, and listen to my klipsch speakers in this light. Easy to use too, people who didnt understand this app probably quit after about 5 minutes so makes sense why they wouldnt get it :/

I love this app in theory. I use it to make my hue lights work like f.lu. Unfortunately it almost always fails to "background update" and so I have to pop the app open frequently, which sort of negates the whole point of it.

This app sounded great but doesnt work, a total ripoff!!

Background updating doesnt work. Hue White Ambiance lights dont work. Emailing their support address yields no response at all.

Unable to connect to my bridge for Hue lights on iPhone 4S.

If you are familiar with F.lux for your computer, this app will allow you to set your Hue lights to the appropriate color based on day. Simply put, it works. And the interface is crazy sleek.

Great app. Keeps my phones brightness aligned with the outside world without having to do anything. Im more zen already.

I tapped the earth icon to change location. The globe came up. I tapped on the globe where I am at. But nothing happened. Unless I missed something and theres another way to change location. If there is, its not obvious to me. Please fix.

This beautifully and thoughtfully crafted app has the potential to revolutionize our relationship to interior lighting. I love that it sends my body subtle cues to help me wind down for bed, but that I can override it when I need to. The Sunn app has added immense value to my Hue lights. Highly recommended!
